We decided to try Moroccan food in Pretoria today at La Terreasse Rooftop Cafe & Deli.So flavourful, fall off the bone lamb.Lamb, honey and date tagine with fluffy couscous. Lamb tomato and saffron wrap with a side salad. pomegrante, apple, pear and sparkling water. Traditional mint tea , coconut biscuit and kahlua, frangelico soaked date crepe with kumquats and fresh cream. Lovely tranquil space, rose petals scattered on tables and stairs, courtyard with a bubbling fountain. A adult retreat. Moroccan items for sale as well. Deli goods like preserved lemon, rose water and turkish delight. Owner and staff friendly and welcoming a really lovely experience. I wanted to steal my hubbys lamb tagine, I had serious food envy. The couscous was perfect grains separate and fluffy the grains soaked up the lamb juices and spices... Perfect. The guy at the next table was raving about the oxtail. We will be back, so much more to try.

Definitely my favourite place...thanks to Joehan Erasmus and the friendly staff. So typically Moroccan...a floral paradise!
Relaxed atmosphere and nice Moroccan style food will be back soon. Joehan surely knows how to treat clients.
